Landus finishes $50K pledge to Career Academy

During the 2018-19 school year, Landus made a commitment to the Greene County Community School District and the Career Academy to pledge $50,000 over a five-year time period.

The donation commitment from Landus was completed Dec. 1, along with acceptance of $10,000 in matching funds from CHS.

“Greene County Community School District has been incredibly appreciative of the support and commitment from Landus over the past five years and moving forward into the future,” a school spokesperson said.

Plans are being made to have high school students participate in a field trip to visit Landus’ Innovation Connector in Des Moines in the very near future to learn and understand how Landus participates in businesses beyond agriculture.
